What is Intuit QuickBooks?
Intuit QuickBooks is one of the most widely used business accounting and bookkeeping software in the market.
What do we learn in the class?
In the Intuit QuickBooks class, you will learn how to write and print checks, create many types of reports including Profit and Loss, keep track of income and expenses, bank account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, inventory, payroll, estimating, purchase order and more.
Is there a teacher in class?
Yes. The teachers are in the same classroom as you. They explain the material and are available to answer all of your questions throughout the sessions.
What is the ratio of teachers to students?
We usually have about 6 students per teacher. The maximum ratio is 1 teacher for every 8 students.
Where are classes held?
These classes are held at our training center. Our computer training center is located in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1989 to provide expert professional computer training in a classroom environment.
What do we take home with us?
We provide you with a professionally prepared workbook/manual, with step-by-step instructions and full of exercises, that you will use in class and take home to practice and keep for your future reference.
Do we get a certificate?
You will receive a certificate of completion upon request. The certificate will specify what level you have completed. For Example, if you take the complete course the certificate will indicate “Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced”.
Mac or PC?
It is your choice. We provide quality 100% hands-on Intuit QuickBooks classes on PC (Microsoft Windows) and Apple Mac. Please specify at the time of registration if you wish to learn the program of your choice on a PC or Apple Mac.
Do you teach Intuit QuickBooks Desktop or Online versions?
You have a choice of Intuit QuickBooks Desktop or Intuit QuickBooks Online versions. Our Intuit QuickBooks Desktop version and Intuit QuickBooks Online version are both 100% hands-on and Live. Please specify at the time of registration if you wish to learn Intuit QuickBooks Online or Intuit QuickBooks Desktop version.
Extra Practice time?
If you don’t have access to the programs to practice we can provide you extra practice time. There is plenty of practice time during the class hours. However, if you need extra practice time, for each course you get the same number of hours of optional extra practice time at our training center in Los Angeles. It is provided at no charge and is optional. This is available on Mondays and Wednesdays during the day and Tuesdays in the evening. There is no instructor present during extra practice time, it is just computer time.
